I had no idea the season ended tonight? Weird must have trimmed the season to 60 games.

No team effort tonight, we need to get something going or like dater said "come trade deadline if the avs are 8 pts back" we may see some changes happen again.
I just hope Giggy doesn't get traded like he mentioned as a possibility, Varly needs a mentor like him which is why they signed him to the 2 yr deal.

If the avs continue to play .500 hockey until deadline day, then anyone from SOB from Jiggy could be moved. Well anyone besides sacco because that would just be too easy wouldn't it.

Its very possible. I think washington can make it though. At this point the Avs are most likely out of it with the Ducks playing lights out.

Also on a side note did you know Vrbata from the Yotes is like 8th in scoring

I don't like your idea's...

I will be rooting for the avs all the way, but the playoffs will pretty much be Det, Van, SJ, Chi, Stl, Nsh, La, Ana in any particular order. I just want the Avs to end the season better than Calgary and Dallas with Min being a bonus

22 Games left.. They must go 16-5-1 to get to 95pts.. I would say Something like.. 13-5-4 is more realistic putting them at 92 points.. I am guessing they still just miss it, will be nice when Mueller is back.

I can see Aaron's point about Duchene and Stastny playing together when it comes to puck possession.

Avs always have and always will play .500 hockey under Sacco. Even if they start firing on all cylinders they would probably go 13-8-1. They wont get many OT losses because they don't have the offense or the play style to get a last minute goal to take it into ot when they are down and when they do get into OT they have a great record. I think they avs are a good team but they aren't a team that is going to get points in 17 of 22 games.

They will not get anything good for those guys. Stastny was just brutal again tonight as well as many others. I am beyond tired watching him float around the ice, never laying a hit, never grinding it out in the corners, never pumping up his teammates, never diving on the ice to make a play. If they want a legitimate scoring winger I believe Stastny has to go. Either he just doesn't get motivated easily or he is just a player that shows no emotion. Either way, show some fire at some point, jeez.

This team is never going to compete again, not as long as this management/ownership is in charge.

At this point, I'll just be happy to get our 1st round pick back this year and if we need to trade Hejduk, Stastny, Quincy or Giguere, so be it!
